Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hallie and her newborn “Halloween Litter” of five kittens came to our rescue from a local community just before Halloween 2024. We named her boys Jack and Frankie and the girls Candy, Trixie, and Boo. Yep, we are clever that way. Speaking of clever, we added a slightly older (and larger) orphan kitten to Hallie’s mix, which, to our joy, she immediately accepted and raised as her own.
We don’t know much about Hallie’s history, but being somewhere between 12-18 months old, and because she is so calm, playful, and affectionate, we are confident she has had positive human contact along her brief journey in life.
But as wonderful as Hallie has been as a mom to her five and foster mom to a single orphan, it’s time for her to write her own story with her own human family. She will certainly make a wonderful companion for a kitten or another cat. And although she has not had physical exposure to her foster’s cat-friendly dog (other than under the foster room door), we have every reason to assume she will do well with a dog friend.
Hallie is FIV/FeLV negative, vaccinated, litter trained, and will be spayed in late December or early January. So, there is Hallie. She is who she is, and there shouldn’t be any surprises regarding her socialization to humans or her personality.
