Hi I'm Maureen!
Did we just become best friends?! I am total sweetheart that would love to be your new lap/foot/bed warmer. I love love LOVE humans - I could be a professional shadow! I get super excited when anyone comes home so I'll sometimes jump up to give you a hug but I'm working on it! (I would definitely tip over little kids though - too much love!) I'm highly motivated to learn and please my humans!

I really like my foster dog roomie too and would love a buddy to rough house with, but I'd be happy to have all the attention for myself too! I'm house trained and working on crate training. I don't love it, but I get a little anxious and might get into things when I'm left alone so I'm working on it! I would love to snuggle with you anytime, anywhere! I'm not used to being on a leash but I'm learning quickly! I can't wait to new a new family that will love me as much as I love them!

I get spayed on Wednesday Dec. 11 and can be adopted that weekend.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
