My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The name Caleb means faithful and that's the kind of companion you're getting if you adopt our puppy, Caleb. He's an adorable, mischievous little guy with a fluffy coat and mysterious back story.

Caleb was found with his littermates by the side of the road when he was so tiny that his eyes were still closed. He was rescued and put into foster care, where he had to be bottle fed to survive. As a result, Caleb has grown into an affectionate puppy, used to being handled. He enjoys strokes and cuddles, but at his age likes exploring or playing chase even more.

But now comes the mystery. We will never know where Caleb came from. And what breed is he? He looks like a border collie/shepherd mix, but his fur is thicker and softer than that. Based on current height, he will probably grow to be large, rather than medium sized. Whatever his ancestry, Caleb is a beautiful puppy with unusual, dramatic brown, black and white facial markings.

Better yet, he is going to make a person or family a fantastic pet. He seldom barks or whines. Also the foster home where he lives is very active and has socialized him well. He has been around cats, children, many visitors and large dogs. Caleb gets along great with them all. He would do well in a multi pet household, although he would probably be fine as an only pet as long as he has space, toys and love.

Basically Caleb is happy, friendly, confident and outgoing. When it comes to his littermates, he wants to be in charge. But he is not a bully. Caleb loves playing games with the others, whether it be tug of war, pounce the ball, or wrestling.

So if you are looking for a handsome, fun, well adjusted puppy, this is your guy. Apply to meet him today!
