There's a book and a musical about an orphan named Oliver. He's cute but he's abandoned, sent to an orphanage and always wanting more food. Sounds just like our adorable puppy, Oliver.
Once abandoned with his littermates by the roadside, our Oliver looked dead when he was taken to his foster mom. But she revived him with bottle feeding. Now he's one happy, healthy, chunky little nugget.
Because of his bottle feeding past, Oliver loves to be held like a baby. He's very affectionate and will gladly trade kisses for cuddles. Oliver is the gentlest, quietest puppy in his litter, but also the most independent. Give him a ball or his teddy bear and he will entertain himself for hours.
Of course Oliver also loves to play with his littermates and with people. He lives in an active foster home that has exposed him to cats, children, many visitors and large dogs. Oliver is great with all of them.
As a Border Collie/Blue Healer mix, he will grow to be medium sized. He is confident, outgoing and rambunctious. Oliver would make a fantastic family pet, but would also be fine with a single owner. He can be paired with other animals, or can be an only dog. Border Collies and Blue Healers tend to be energetic breeds, so expect that Oliver will be as well.
This is one sweet puppy you've got to meet. So adopt Oliver from the orphanage today!
