Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Woof, woof! My name is Merlot, and I`m a calm and friendly pup who`s always ready for an adventure. As a true travel buddy, I love exploring new places and taking in all the sights and sounds. Whether it`s a hike through the woods or a leisurely stroll around the city, I`m game for anything. When I`m not out on the road, you can find me curled up in my cozy bed, taking a well-deserved nap. I enjoy the company of other pups, but I`m perfectly content being the only furry friend in your life. So if you`re looking for a loyal and easygoing companion to join you on your travels, I`m your girl! I am full grown at ~56lbs. How did I get here? Transferred from Forsyth County Animal Shelter where she came in as a stray.
~!My adoption fee is $120.00.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
