My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow there! My name is Rascal and I`m a shy but oh so sweet kitty. I may be a little nervous at first, but once you give me some time and cuddles, you`ll see that I`m just a big ol` softy. The shelter staff said I used to live with a lot of other cats, which is why I can be a little shy around new people. But I promise I`m not scary - I just need a quiet, loving home where I can come out of my shell and be the best feline friend ever. This time of year, I`d love to curl up by the fireplace with you and watch the snow fall. So if you`re looking for a snuggly sidekick to keep you company all winter long, I`m your guy!
How did I get here? Transferred from Iredell County Animal Shelter where I was an owner surrender.

Adoption Fees:
Dogs 7 months and older: $95
Puppies 6 months and younger: $300
Cats 7 months and older: $45
Kittens 6 months and younger: $150
Rabbits: $35
Guinea pigs: $15

Adoption fees for dogs and cats include:
First vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming and flea preventative.

All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

All dogs and puppies have received heartworm preventative, and dogs/puppies over the age of six months have been tested for heartworms.

All rabbits are spayed or neutered.
