My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Nora, nice to meet you! My coat is the coolest mix of brown and orange tabby spots, my nickname is Reese like the peanut butter cup! Sometimes I can be a little shy but a quick pet to the noggin will help me feel safe and open up. I love to play! I’ll play alone with toys, with you, or with a friend. My favorite friend to play with is my brother, Nick. I really hope we get to stay together because we are all each other has ever known and we rely on each other for comfort and confidence. I’m spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, chipped, and combo tested. Come meet Nick and me today!

More about this rescue

My name is Amanda, I live in Southern California and I own and operate my nonprofit animal rescue, Kitten Rescue Life. I always wanted to make a difference to animals in need. The more I saw and the more I learned, the harder it became to stay uninvolved. Finally in 2017, a colony cat I named Henry ignited a level of inspiration I could no longer ignore. I began fostering and shortly after started coordinating for a local cat rescue. The two years I spent fostering and coordinating gave me a lot of the knowledge and experience I needed in order to properly care for animals and run a 501c3.
I mostly work with the young or neonate kitten population and severe medical cases. These underage kittens are at high risk on the streets and in shelters. Motherless kittens won't last long on the streets and in shelters they are at risk of euthanasia. I provide a safe environment for them until they can be adopted into forever homes. I'm experienced in treating sick or fading kittens and I've saved many lives by following practiced rescue protocols. I also have experience socializing and trapping feral kittens. I'm a huge advocate of both TNR (trap, neuter, release) and spay/neuter programs.
