Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Giselle is an 8 month old, 55 lb Hound mix, and we think she may be part Shar Pei.
Foster mom affectionately refers to her as Gigi and says she is an absolute dream! She is closely bonded with her sister and has always acted as her shadow. She is the sweetest girl and wants so badly to please her people. She is very laid back and a bit of a follower. She will take the lead of the doggy friends around her. She would be happy in a home with another dog to show her companionship and the routine. However, living solo with consistent direction from her new people may be just what Gigi needs to blossom into her own, brave self. For now, she will eat up every bit of attention you give her and continue to be the simple, soft, gentle giant she is. A few zoomies around the yard or dog park are all she needs, then she is very content to take a long nap. With her chill personality and napping skills, Gigi would be an excellent candidate for an apartment or house dog. Gigi is very smart and impressionable, so she is very easy to teach. She shows interest in the house cats but is not aggressive and with supervision and guidance could live with a feline friend. Gigi is crate trained and will contently nap on her plush blanket with a plush toy all night and during the day while you are out of the house. She is very friendly with new people but is bit shy. Due to her size, we are recommending no kids under the age of 6. She loves her treats and is learning her name, recall, to sit, and to kennel up for a treat. Gigi is great on a leash and has impeccable vet clinic manners. This sweet gal deserves a soft spot to land and a home to call her own. Please submit your application a www.humanetomorrow.org, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
