Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Gabriella is an 8 month old, 65 lb Hound mix, and we are guessing she might be mixed with SharPei. Affectionately referred to as Gabby, she is the life of the party. She has never met a stranger and is very confident interacting with new friends. She has enjoyed the company of all the new people and dogs she has met. She gets a little too much joy from chasing the cats, so a no-cat home is recommended. Most of the time though, she is quite literally a couch potato. She does enjoy a quick romp in the yard or a visit to the dog park but is very content to spend most of her day napping on a soft blanket. If you are looking for an apartment or "only" dog, she is an excellent candidate. Gabby is crate trained and is content to be crated overnight or while you are out of the house. She loves her soft blankets and soft toys! Gabby is great on a leash and has impeccable vet clinic manners. She knows to 'sit' and 'kennel up' for a treat. She does respond well to treats, but her heart is won with affection from her people. She is a quiet, well-behaved dog and has done well with kids, but due to her size, we recommend no kids under the age of 6. Gabby is very bonded with her sister Gigi, so she may enjoy a home with doggy companionship or at least a lot of human attention for the first few weeks. With her laid-back personality, Gabby is sure to adjust to her new surroundings pretty quickly. This sweet girl is just a big, cuddly, soft bundle of love and joy that is deserving of a home to call her own. Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info
All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.
Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats
Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs
The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
