Foster Update: Well behaved easy going gentlemen! Loves to cuddle, zoomies, and pets!

Stitch surrendered to an overcrowded shelter with his buddy Leo. Stitch is 12 years old and just got neutered and had a dental. He also had bloodwork done. Stitch lost all his teeth during the dental but still eats kibble like nothing. Stitch is great with other dogs. Has been social with most people he has met. Stitch would probably do best in a quieter home. He will be here on 12/7. He will be fostered in Scarborough.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
