My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peachy is fostered in St Catharines.

Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website.

Peachy is a 5-month-old mixed-breed pup with a heart full of love. With her soft tan coat and gentle spirit, shes the perfect blend of playful and snuggly. Peachy is a curious explorer who enjoys discovering the world at her own pace, making her an independent little adventurer. Shes not afraid to play with bigger dogs and, after a burst of fun, loves to crash on your lap for a cozy nap. This precious pup will flip her on her back when she is relaxing, and shell happily cozy up in your arms. Peachy has medium puppy energy and would thrive in a home where she can enjoy long walks, sniffing all the exciting scents, and meeting new friends, both human and canine. Shes already shown friendliness toward cats, making her a great fit for multi-pet households.

Peachy is still mastering house training (about 50% there) and is getting more comfortable with crate training, settling in after a bit of barking or whining. While shes learning the ropes of leash walks, shes eager to improve with a patient and loving family.

This sweet girl would do best in a detached home where she has space to grow and explore. Her playful personality, cuddly nature, and adventurous spirit make her a precious baby whos ready to bring joy and love to her forever family.

Additional adoption info

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue is looking for committed adopters, ready to bring a rescue dog into their life. In order to ensure that we find the best homes for our dogs, adoption applicants must go through an adoption approval process. We receive a number of applications for each dog and only one will be chosen as the successful candidate. Candidates are selected based on the dog's needs. Not being selected for the dog that you applied for does not disqualify you from adopting from us in the future.

Go meet their pets

We do our very best to place our dogs into adoptive homes before they arrive into Canada. This ensures that they have a safe and loving place to go after their long journey up North. All dogs adopted through R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue will receive a 15 day adoption probation period. This period starts the day the dog enters the care of the adopter. This means that the adoptive family has 15 days to determine that dog is a good fit for them. Although it may feel scary to not meet the dog before adopting, the 15 day period allows you to get to know the dog within your home. If you buy a dog off of Kijiji or at a local shelter you may be given a couple hours to meet the dog. We believe that our program's 15 day probation provides much more insight into how he or she will fit into your home, rather than. a brief meet and greet.

More about this rescue

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue was founded in 2020 by a small group of young women with one thing is common: a love for dogs. Since establishment, RDR has successfully found forever homed for over 700 dogs. Our mission is to rescue dogs in dire situations and give them a second chance at life through education and empowerment. All of our dogs come the streets and shelters across Texas, where they are experiencing a dog overpopulation crisis. Our team has travelled to the State to see first-hand how we can help and make a difference in the lives of animals.
R.E.B.E.L stands for: rescue, educate, believe, empower and love dogs. We live by these words every day and encourage the dog-loving community to follow suit!
