My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org or Carol at cgriglione@arl-iowa.org.

----

- A beautiful, independent girl who will make a great companion cat- she enjoys being in the same room as her humans where she will provide lots of entertainment

- Cute, funny and full of personality

- We strongly recommend she be adopted into a home with another cat - she is a cat that needs another animal to bond with, and another cat to help her build confidence and to play with her

- She will need time to adjust to her new home as she was anxious when she arrived in our care and has gradually opened up during her time in a foster home; will be a wonderful friend for someone who can give her the time and patience she needs to become comfortable

- Young, noisy or busy children are too much for her, so she's looking for a mature home that's calm and predictable

All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
