My name is Polar Bear!

Polar Bear is a young Chihuahua/Whippet mix with a heart as big as his story. This courageous pup survived a devastating house fire that left him with burns, pink skin on his face and nose, and the tips of his ears gone. When he first arrived, he was scared and defensive, but his resilience and loving nature have shone through.

Now, Polar Bear adores attention and has become a beacon of comfort and reassurance for others. As an ambassador for his fellow survivors, he greets each new rescue with licks and love, letting them know they are safe. Thanks to Polar Bear, over 20 Chihuahuas from this tragic situation have learned to trust people again.

Polar Bear is great with other dogs, cats, and even elementary-aged children who understand his journey and offer him gentle love. Despite his tough start, this sweet boy is ready to embrace a life filled with kindness, comfort, and care. He deserves a home where he can finally be spoiled and live a life of ease and unconditional love.
