My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lulu is one of a litter of 3 kittens born 6 months ago under a large apartment complex in NE Salem. Both mom and dad were caring for kittens. Local Salem rescuers were called by one of the apartment tenants asking for help. The lady stated several teens tenants were approached by man offering $5.00 per cat any size. They overheard he wanted the cats for bait in dog fights and to be used for snake food. Soon the whole family was rescued and the 2 adult cats were rehomed together after being fully vetted.

Lulu is the friendliest and larger of the 3 kittens. She has always shown confidence and is super sweet and well natured in personality. She loves playing hard with her 2 sisters Lili and Mia, but she also likes her own space. In a perfect world the 3 sisters would love to be adopted together but if not, Lulu needs at least one other kitty sibling for company that is not aggressive or territorial.  A household with adults or seniors with no super young children is preferred. There are no dogs in Lulu's foster home, but there is a young puppy that visits sometimes and Lulu adjusts after she feels safe.

Lulu is spayed and fully vetted, litter box trained and an indoor kitty only. All 3 sisters sleep together in a large 2 story kennel that stays open, has 3 little beds. The 3 sisters have been in their current foster home since late August because it took some time for Lulu's sister to become more social and be ready for their forever home. Lulu is playful, friendly and is learning to cuddle on her own terms but she does love sitting not far from her human fosters.

Lulu would make a wonderful edition to any family or single adult/senior. Lulu has never shown any aggression and is friendly with the kitties in her current foster home.

Lulu's adoption fee is $125 and you can adopt all 3 siblings for $250.  Indoor only.  Lulu, Lili and Mia live with their foster family in Salem.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
