My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

•• Meet adoptable Jax! ••

* Jax is a goofy, happy boy looking for his forever home. Born in February 2024, Jax had a rough start in life. He and his two siblings were left at a local shelter before Jax was donated to Northwestern State University in Louisiana for their veterinary sciences program.

* During his time at the university, Jax helped aspiring vet technicians learn their trade. He was a star student for basic training in blood draws, vaccinations, and other routine procedures. Now that the semester is ending, Jax needs a loving home where he can move on from his academic life and just be a dog.

Jax is:
+ Neutered
+ Vaccinated
+ Housebroken
+ 58 pounds of pure joy

* He has done well with all the dogs he’s met and has a sweet, goofy personality that will brighten your days. Jax is ready to leave behind his classroom days and settle into a home where he can get all the love and care he deserves.

* If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s been around the block (and the lab), Jax might just be the perfect addition to your family. Though still “at school” in Louisiana, Jax is ready NOW for transport to NY (part of the adoption donation).
