My name is Tarik!

Tarik was someone's dog at some point. We could see where his collar rested long enough to make an indent in his fur. Tarik also knows some commands and has nice leash manners. He doesn't have any hesitation when meeting new people (so far) and is a medium energy happy guy. He can stay close for yummy snacks or explore the play area on his own. Let's get Tarik back in a home and out of the lonely kennel life.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
