Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This is Charley who is a year old, and 12 lbs of happy energy and fun. He is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. He’s also very smart (more on that in a minute) and ridiculously cute!
Charley walks well on leash, rides well in the car, and is very sweet, loving, and healthy. He’s a bit standoffish and hand-shy at first, but once he gets to know you and trust you, he is a cuddly, loving, and affectionate dog. He’s also housetrained – he quickly learned how to use the dog door in his foster home and goes right over to his potty area. Another plus is his wirey coat which is low maintenance for grooming.
He's very curious and likes to explore absolutely everything; sometimes I think he’s a cat – he’ll jump up on the back of the couch so he can see all around. He also figured out how to jump onto his crate, and then spring onto other things (I told you he was smart!). Charley’s still a pup and will obviously need some training in household manners. But he’s very food-motivated so training should be easy.
One thing you should know is that Charley has had Parvo. He got really sick, but his will to live was stronger than the virus and thankfully he got better. He is totally recovered, and now has natural immunity.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Charley, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form.

Our goal is to rescue at-risk dogs and place them in stable, loving, and permanent homes.
Through no fault of their own, these dogs find themselves in shelters or with guardians who can no longer care for them. We believe each dog is special and deserves to be cherished and protected. We are dedicated to helping find these loyal companions a permanent home and a second chance at life.

We are also registered with Mission Fish (on Ebay).
Ebay sellers can donate a percentage of their sales to K9BFF at listing time and Ebay will keep track of the donations and payments for them.
