Meet Neeko!

Neeko is a 9-year-old spayed female Maine Coon mix with a gentle and sweet nature. Though she may be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly to become a loving and loyal companion.

Neeko enjoys lounging around, especially in sunny spots where she can bask in the warmth. She’s a big fan of chin rubs and will sometimes surprise you by hopping into bed for a cozy nighttime cuddle. Playtime with a laser pointer is one of her favorite activities, and she’ll happily chase the light around with enthusiasm.

Neeko has been the queen of her castle as the only pet, so it’s unclear how she might do with other animals. She would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can continue to enjoy the attention and comfort she adores.

You may visit our cats at the Dancing Cat Cat lounge by appointment, or via Zoom for cats in foster homes.

Additional adoption info

Once the adoption has been finalized, we will deliver the cat to the adopter's home.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
