Hello, I’m Soap! I’m a gentle, shy cat with sparkling blue eyes, and while I may take a little time to warm up, once I feel comfortable, I’m all about the love and cuddles. I may be a bit quieter than my sister Spatula, but I promise, I’m just as sweet and full of personality!
One of my favorite things to do is chirp at birds! I get so excited watching them flutter around outside, and I can’t resist letting out a little chirp to join in the fun. When I’m not bird-watching, I love chasing my jingle ball around — it’s such a blast to bat it back and forth, and it always keeps me entertained. I may not be as bold as my sister, but I’ve definitely got my own quirky ways to have fun!
While I may be a little shy, my kitty family assures me when there are new people around. They help me feel safe and secure as I adjust to new surroundings. I’m a soft and loving soul, and once I get to know you, I’ll reward you with affection and cuddles. It just takes a little time for me to feel comfortable! I would love to stay with my mom Sink, or sister Spatula if you could find the room in your home and heart?

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
