What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Simon is a cute energetic young dog who loves running around to chase and be chased. He does best in big open fields or hiking trails. He loves to play with most dogs but he can be sassy every now and then, particularly with Berniece Mountain Dogs, German Shepards and Golden Retrievers. He is very food motivated and will do anything for hot dogs and cheese making it easy to keep him in line. He loves chew toys but they have to be durable as he will chew up the soft toys, especially if they have a squeaker in them. We adopted him a couple of years ago and went through extensive training to improve his possessiveness and reactiveness with great improvement along with the trazodone medication but sadly as we prepare for significant life changes he wont be able to come along with us. Despite his improvement, bites have occurred, but primarily in response to his possessives nature. The good treats make it easy to swap out anything. Overall he is so loving after a long tiring day of fun.
