My name is Sophie!

Hello, I’m Sophie, a sweet patch tabby with a bit of a rough past, but I’m ready to start fresh and find my forever home. I was rescued after being chased and tormented by other cats, so I can be a little shy at first, especially around new faces or loud noises. It may take me a little time to feel safe and comfortable, but once I trust you, I’m all about the love!

I’m a gentle soul with a calm, affectionate, and even-tempered personality. I love to purr when I’m being cared for and will soak up all the gentle attention you have to offer. I may start off a little timid and want to hide, but if you softly call my name and speak to me, I’ll gradually come out of my shell and show you just how sweet I can be.

I get along best with peaceful, quiet cats who won’t overwhelm me, but I think I might be happiest as the only cat in the home. That way, I can enjoy all of your attention without having to share!
