A volunteer writes: Whiskers is a princess and we're all just living in her kingdom. A true material girl, she chins everything during floor time (marking all the toys as hers!). Then when she's finished, she'll flop down next to me for pets, purring with approval. Whiskers is looking for a forever home to make her palace and a human companion to shower her with all the attention she deserves!

Animal Care Centers of NYC encourages everyone to come to one of our three full service Care Centers when looking to adopt a pet. Beautiful dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits are anxiously waiting a home to call their own. All ACC adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip, spay/neuter, one month of free pet health insurance, and a free office visit at a participating veterinarian.

ACC rescues more than 20,000 animals each year. A non-profit organization, ACC is under contract with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to rescue, care for and find loving homes for homeless and abandoned animals.
