My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Poppi, a charming and lovable foster kitten eagerly awaiting her forever home! Rescued by Texas CARES from a local shelter at just seven weeks old, this little bundle of joy has blossomed into a playful, sweet, and inquisitive feline companion.

Poppi has tons of wonderful qualities but among her most endearing is her adorable silent meow balanced by a very loud purr motor.  Make no mistake, Poppi will sing to you occasionally but she just chooses to use her indoor voice most of the time.  This silly kitty also has a unique fondness for watching cartoons on her iPad, with Peppa Pig being her absolute favorite show!

While Poppi would thrive with a feline friend in her forever home, it's not a requirement for her adoption as she tends to bond more closely with humans.  She's proven to be very laid back in her foster home, getting along swimmingly with several other resident cats and even two small dogs.  Poppi also has an independent streak and will entertain herself with toys, an outdoor view from the security of an inside perch and of course her cat TV.   Her adaptable nature makes her a perfect fit for various household dynamics.

Poppi is litter box trained, microchipped, combo tested (negative for feline leukemia and FIV) and up to date on her vaccinations.   With her playful spirit and affectionate demeanor, Poppi is ready to bring endless joy and laughter to her new family.  Could you be the one to give this special little girl her happily ever after this holiday season?  If so, please inquire or submit an adoption application today!
