‘FIXER UPPER THEME’ PUPPY: Approx. 4 - 5 months old / Approx. 28 lbs. & growing
Hi, I’m Chip, one of the adorable Fixer Upper puppies who joined Mostly Mutts from animal control! I’m sure happy to be here and loving all the attention and good care I’m getting, but nothing will beat a family of my own to grow up with! I’m ready to meet that family now, perhaps you?
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with 2 siblings and I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a dog that would enjoy a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet boy with a calm and gentle demeanor – especially for a puppy! I was a real sweetheart for my bath - sitting so calmly and just looking up at my bather. She even says I look like a little seal pup – lol. I’m an adorable and affectionate pup who the volunteers say is ‘the best boy’! I bet you will agree! / My energy level is 4-6.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer. Check back soon to see my progress. I’m looking for a family that will continue to teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’m just a baby and will need you to help with my potty training. I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I like to collect all the love from the volunteers – especially those great scratches behind the ears – ahhhh! Toys are fun and being a typical puppy, I am always up for a great play session. / New to leash walking, I don’t care for the road noise around the shelter. Otherwise, I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered.
