A FUN & ENERGETIC PUP: Approx. 7 - 8 months old / Approx. 18 lbs. & needs to gain some weight
Hi, my name’s Niles! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I’m getting lots of love and care at the shelter and even went on a couple of day trips with one of the volunteers. I just know there is a family out there that needs some puppy love, and – I’m your guy!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / I met kids in a short break foster home recently and did well with them (I don’t recall their ages). Children in my new home may be nice, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. I’m also nibbly when I play.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a sweet and playful pup with a lot of love to share. I am curious and smart with a friendly and happy demeanor. I’m a nibbly and a mouthy player – all puppy! I have an active energy that is sure to bring a smile to your face. / My energy level is 5-7.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I have learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’ and ‘come’ commands and I look forward to learning lots more! Use treats please as I LOVE treats. I’m looking for a family that will continue to teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule, though I did better on my day trips. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: My two favorite things: toys and treats. That should make for some fun play sessions and some yummy training sessions. I love to explore and enjoy following my sniffer wherever it leads me. I’ve been easy to leash, so let’s check out the world together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.
