Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Koozie is a cutie, there`s no denying that fact. He arrived to the shelter one very busy day with a limp back leg and quite the attitude. It took one look from our shelter director to say `Oh that`s broken...and kinda creepy.` No leg should bend that way!! He was brought over to the amazing team at TLC as soon as possible, where they identified a spiral fracture in Koozie`s back right leg. Woof! That had to hurt, and it also explained the sass. Koozie was placed in a splint and put on kennel rest, which took about 5 weeks. Koozie has now been out of his splint for 2 weeks, and great news!! He is able to use his back leg normally to play, jump, run, wrestle, and (his favorite hobby) chase the humans down for loves.
Koozie really likes other cats....like....a LOT. He wants to be in their space all of the time. But Koozie needs friends that can tolerate this `in your face` approach to friendship. Koozie currently lives with Bunny, another one of our special foster cats. Koozie and Bunny are buds, but do not need to go to the same home to be happy. They each just need a friend.
Koozie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Koozie is a Hope Fund cat, meaning his adoption fee is $200, however we have a $50 discount on all adoptions for the month of December for our Home for the Holidays event.
