A Heartwarming Rescue: Eight Tiny Lives Saved by Angel Dog Alliance

When we got the call, it was a race against time. A black Labrador mother had been tragically hit by a car, leaving behind eight newborn puppies. Their eyes were still closed, and their survival depended on immediate care. A kind man in Georgia, overwhelmed and desperate to help, turned to Angel Dog Alliance.

We jumped into action, guiding him through every crucial step: from buying the right formula to safely feeding and caring for the fragile pups. Thanks to his efforts and our support, the puppies made it through their first critical days and are now en route to a loving whelping foster. There, two surrogate mums will give them the warmth and nourishment they need to thrive.

These little angels are already showing their strength and sweetness, and we can’t wait to see their personalities shine as they grow. In 8–10 weeks, they’ll be ready to find forever homes with patient, loving adopters.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
