Meet Tang, a 10-month-old, 18-pound, female small mixed breed dog from Alabama! Tang is a sweet, affectionate and loving young pup.
Tang is a timid little girl looking for her forever home. She can be a bit shy at first, but with patience and love, her gentle and playful personality truly shines.
Tang is not yet fully house trained but is making great progress with consistency and positive reinforcement. She is also working on her leash skills. While she enjoys walks, loud noises can easily startle her, so a calm and supportive approach is needed to help her continue to build confidence. Check out Tang in action (click here to view videos!)
One of Tang’s favorite things to do is cuddle. She’s an excellent cuddle buddy and would happily spend the day lounging in bed with you, making her the perfect companion for cozy days at home. She loves getting all the rubs you're willing to give while at home with you.
Tang would thrive in a home where her family understands her sensitive side, allowing a little extra time to adjust, and then ready to celebrate her progress. She’s a loving companion who is ready to bond with the right family! She does not currently reside with another canine companion, but we believe she would do well as a solo dog or with another calm dog, who can respect her boundaries. (Cats are an unknown with Tang!) We imagine she could also do well in a home with older children.
Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella. Heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
To apply for Tang, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue.
