It’s clear she hadn’t experienced the love and kindness every dog deserves. But her journey to healing has been nothing short of inspiring.

Today, Sydney is heartworm-free, on the annual ProHeart shot, and ready for her fresh start. She still feels a bit unsure around men and will thrive with a patient, understanding family. Sydney has come a long way—she’s learning to trust, to play, and to simply be a dog.
