SAVANNAH IS A COURTESY POST - IF INTERESTED, EMAIL INFO@PETEY&FURENDS.ORG
Name: Savannah
Sex: Female
Estimated Age: About 5 years old
Best Guess for Breed: Pitbull Terrier Mix
Weight: About 75 lbs
Lives With: People and other dogs.
Housebroken? Savannah is housebroken. She has not been in a crate since she was a puppy and is trained. She freely walks the house all day long. Mostly naps.
Story: Savannah is an owner surrender whose owner is no longer in a position to take care of her (due to no fault of Savannah’s). She was originally adopted at 6 weeks old in early February 2019. She’s very easy going. Most days she lounges around all day and doesn’t require a lot. She loves large tennis balls and tossing them outdoors to fetch. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Savannah is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags.
What my foster says: Savannah loves to snuggle and is very affectionate. She doesn’t like the rain, and prances into the grass when it’s wet out… maybe she doesn’t like her paws wet. She loves meeting new people (adults & children). She loves hikes! I’ve taken her to Shenandoah and many battlefield trails in Prince William county. Savannah is a big sweetie! A home with an outdoorsy family would be wonderful but any family would be perfect for Savannah that can give her lots of love and attention.
If you think that Savannah might be your perfect match, please email info@peteyandfurends.org.
