We adopted Fenrir (Fennie) as a puppy from a breeder. He is just over 2 years old and crate trained. He loves his humans but does not do well with little kids as he has become too reactive to my little boy.
He loves to play fetch, knows sit, lay down, crate, shake (both paws). He also loves to cuddle and is protective. With his level of reactiveness and separation anxiety I do not feel like I am giving him what he needs. With his aggressive toward smaller kids (due to the loud noises and fast movements) he needs to have a calm home without kids or maybe just teens and older.
This was a devastating decision for us but if I love him then I need to give him to a home who can train him or create the environment he needs.
