Why I need a new home

Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Neptune is an unneutered male gsd/mix, I’m uncertain of the mix. He seems to be very protective, observant, smart but very goofy at times. Everything he does is 100% at full speed.

Yr 1-2 weren’t bad there weren’t really any behavioral issues. He was was good and behaved as you would expect a puppy to behave I guess.

We lived in a house with 4 people and 2 other dogs.
One of my roommates and I noticed that he’d become aggressive when my roommate tried hug me. He was still small at the time and we thought it was funny.

I had to move out the home and into an apartment.

As he got older and bigger he became more reactive towards passersby and other dogs, so I started limiting the distance of our walks, and decided I would try more training. To try and build better habits. It was difficult to try and pin point what his triggers were but I could find no consistency in his reactions. I can only assume that he was/is trying to be protective.

I’ve tried to work with for as long as I could.
