My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Saucer is a gentle and goofy sweetheart who’s ready to find his forever family! This lovable boy is leash-trained and an easy walker. He’s also highly food-motivated, making training a breeze—he’s already learning to pay attention by sitting and waiting for a treat when you say “yes.” Saucer is progressing well with potty training, using his nose to touch a bell by the door and having just a couple of accidents when he first arrived.

He’s a smart pup who knows commands like “paw,” “sit,” “lay,” and “stay,” and he patiently waits when you put his food bowl down. Saucer loves people and greets new faces politely. While he’s still working on his interactions with other dogs and may need redirection when he sees them across the street, he’s always eager to please. His behavior around kids hasn’t been fully tested, but he’s incredibly friendly toward people.

This stage-four clinger adores cuddles and prefers to stay as close to his humans as possible. He’s crate-trained and sleeps soundly in his crate, though you might catch him snoring—he doesn’t bark often, but his snores are adorable! Saucer is also a fan of car rides and loves to sit up front, so a seatbelt could help him stay safe.

On walks, Saucer occasionally gets timid near highway noise and might stop until given gentle guidance. His goofy personality is starting to shine, and he’ll make you laugh with his silly antics and bursts of energy. Whether it’s hanging out with you or enjoying a quiet moment, Saucer is the perfect blend of sweet and fun.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, Saucer is ready to meet you!
