My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Sir Reginald, but my friends call me Reggie. I love to go on walks and explore. I'm still learning what to do with my toys, but I’m figuring them out fast. The way to my heart is offering me snacks or meal time! I also love whenever someone is brushing my beautiful coat. I pose perfectly for pets and when I'm being given attention by humans.

I’ve been super sweet to everyone I’ve met, including people and all the other dogs at the adoption events I have attended and when I've gone to play at the dog park. I’m intrigued by kids and even patiently waited by the door on Halloween to see all the trick-or-treaters who came to my foster mom's house! I love car rides, especially when my "chauffer" takes me to the dog park or somewhere with tasty snacks!

I ignored the cat I saw outside, even when said cat came and slapped me in the face. I’m about 1.5 years old and right at 60 lbs. I’m neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, and fully up to date on all vaccines. Submit an application for me today where you can take home your very own fluffy polar bear! I'd love nothing more than a forever family to spend the upcoming holidays with.

Additional adoption info

A home check may be performed when taking the pet home. This is up to the discretion of the rescue founder and may be performed upon her decision. This step will ensure our animals are going into the best possible homes and will never be treated as less than a best friend and companion ever again. We are dedicated to the best possible fit for each animal that comes into our care.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are 100% foster and volunteer run. Therefore, the first step in meeting one of our adoptable pets will be to submit an adoption application by following the link posted above to either our website or directly to our adoption application. Once an adoption application has been approved, we can set up a meet and greet with the applicant and the animal the applicant is interested in. Please allow 24-72 business hours to receive an answer back about your application, as all of our volunteers and fosters have additional jobs outside of the rescue and use their spare time to provide care to these animals in our program.

Adoption events can also be found posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages located under the name "Happy Tails Canine Rescue". These events are open to the public and do not require an adoption application in advance to meet any of our pets that will be attending.
