Hi! My name is Marsha 3! I am about 2.5 years old, 50 pounds, and sweet as can be!
I get along with other dogs and I love people! I'm totally okay with cats; sometimes I ignore them, sometimes they hiss at me, and sometimes I'll run after them but it's totally just for fun!
I'm pretty good on a leash and I could use a little more work: sometimes I pull, sometimes I react to other dogs at a distance, and I will try to get to a squirrel if we see one. A harness is definitely the way to go!
Most of the time I'll sit at the door before you let e out but sometimes I get so excited to go out, I just can't stand it.
When I'm in the yard with another dog I'll play a little bit but I mostly like to cruise around and watch squirrels. I don't bark, I just sit and watch. In fact, I'm not much of a barker, but I will definitely let you know if someone is coming to the front door.
Lastly, I am soooooo good in a crate! I prefer to be out at night - to snuggle with you or curl up on a bed or the couch. While you're out of the house, I am really mellow in my crate.
I'd love to meet you so you can see for yourself what a sweet girl I am!

More about this rescue
Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
