Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Aries and Presley, two sweet, bonded senior ladies looking for their forever home together. These loving girls are in their golden years, but they still have so much affection to give. They’re both calm, low-energy dogs who are happiest when curled up on the couch, enjoying the quiet moments of life. Despite their age, they bring a sense of peace and warmth wherever they go.
These two girls are incredibly easy-going and low-maintenance. They’re fully content with short walks, naps, and some love from their humans. Aries and Presley would do best in a home that appreciates their gentle nature and can offer a relaxed environment. They’re the perfect companions for someone seeking loyal, affectionate dogs without the high demands of younger pets. If you’re looking for two loving seniors to fill your home with companionship and joy, Aries and Presley are the perfect fit!

Additional adoption info
Come in during open hours 11:30am-5pm if you see an animal you are interested in adopting!
Our Northeast Animal Shelter(NEAS) location also allows you to submit an inquiry online prior to visiting the shelter. Submitting an inquiry is not a hold, reservation, or guarantee on an animal adoption, it just gives NEAS a bit more information on you and allows staff to email you additional information on our adoption process.
We ask that you be in a position to adopt the day you visit with an animal. Our goal with adoption is to find a great match and have the animal stay in care for the least amount of time possible.
See www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ for more information on adopting from the MSPCA-Angell Northeast Animal Shelter.

More about this shelter
Northeast Animal Shelter, established in 1976, is now part of the MSPCA-Angell, giving us a better opportunity to serve our community, provide additional life-saving programs and services, and protect more animals from cruelty and neglect.
Our adoption program is designed to be welcoming, nonjudgmental, and free of lengthy applications. We strive to engage all prospective adopters in a conversation aimed at matching an adopter’s lifestyle, interests and home environment with an animal’s personality, medical and behavioral needs. Adopting an animal is an extraordinary opportunity to choose your newest family member. At the MSPCA it is a great privilege for our staff and volunteers to guide that journey for adopters and animals.
