Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Such a petite, fluffy-cheeked little friend! Ladybug is believed to have spent quite a bit of time outside prior to arriving at FAS. Having possibly not received consistent human interaction in her earlier life, she understandably has been a shy little soul here in the shelter. Given some time to decompress, she has increasingly appeared to enjoy gentle human interaction and we believe that a patient adopter may coax her further out of her shell. Though unlikely ever to be a social butterfly, Ladybug may be a nice fit for a quiet home and someone willing to connect with her on her own timeline. For her comfort, she is available to a household with kids aged 10+ or no kids. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 6.7 Age: 2yrs 6mths 1wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
