Meet Dizzy!

Dizzy is a 6-year-old, 19-pound Bichon with a heart as sweet as can be. This lovable boy adores kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is even good with cats!

He was found stray in rough shape, but thanks to one of our talented volunteer groomers, he’s now cleaned up and looking fabulous. Dizzy is ready to start a new chapter with a family who will cherish his gentle and loving nature.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold, Dizzy could be the perfect addition to your home!
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Once your application is approved you will be contacted by the rescue and discuss the dog you are interested in and transportation.

Pay Fee

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

All information regarding our dogs and transportation will be discussed prior to adoption.

Puppies under 6 months: $350
Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
