Meet Smokey, a one year old Siberian Husky mix weighing around 48 pounds.
Smokey might have gotten into so trouble with some chickens and that is why he is now with us, however he is pleading the fifth. He is a bit unsure about all of the changes and it is clear he isn’t used to doorways or being inside, but we are sure he will come around in the next few weeks. Smokey doesn’t seem to have gotten much love or affection as he doesn’t seem to know what to do with it or how to ask for it, but he also wants more! He just needs someone to show him the ropes and he will thrive, we are sure he will enjoy everything new you show him if you give him a moment.

Our mission is to help you find a pet that meets your expectations and lifestyle. You’re invited to visit with a prospective pet in one of our "Meet N' Greet" rooms. We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.

We are a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization proud to be serving the people and animals of Yakima County for over 100 years.
