Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Annette is a vibrant, energetic pup with a personality as unique as she is. Being deaf doesn’t slow her down—it just means she’s learned to communicate in her own special way. She’s fully crate-trained and feels most at ease when her crate is covered with a blanket, especially when she’s excited by activity around her. Annette is also housebroken, with no accidents in her foster home, thanks to her clever habit of following the lead of the other dogs when it’s time to go outside.
Playtime is Annette’s favorite activity, and she thrives in daycare, where she loves playing fetch and has been learning how to adjust her play style with other dogs. She’s friendly and adaptable, sharing toys and water bowls with her foster siblings, coexisting peacefully with cats, and staying calm around horses. She’s also learning hand signals to help her communicate better.
Annette thrives in a calm, structured environment where she can mirror the energy of the dogs and people around her. Continued trips to daycare, such as Paws & Play, would help her grow and socialize even more. If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion with a heart as big as her personality, Annette is ready to brighten your home!

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.
This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
