Meet Marley, an 8-month-old mini Lab mix with a big personality packed into her 20-pound frame! This sweet girl, originally from the Bahamas, is a "potcake"—a special name for the amazing dogs from the islands. Marley is expected to be 25–30 pounds when fully grown, making her the perfect size for snuggles and adventures alike.

Marley is a smart and loving pup who’s leash trained, crate trained, and housebroken. She absolutely adores kids and thrives in a family environment. However, Marley would do best as the only dog in the household, as she prefers to have her humans (and their attention!) all to herself.

She’s looking for a family who can give her the love, structure, and one-on-one time she craves. Marley has so much love to give, and she’s ready to become your loyal companion.

More about this rescue

Save the Satos Inc. is a non-profit, registered 501c3 organization which is focused on changing the lives of the stray dogs (known to the locals as Satos) of Puerto Rico. We rescue the unwanted dogs of the island, and transport them to NJ where they are placed in loving foster homes. The Satos are made happy and healthy, socialized, spayed/neutered and put up for adoption to find their forever home.

Save the Satos also focuses on helping pet owners in Puerto Rico by providing food, shelter, spay/neuter, flea/tick/heart worm prevention, vaccines and veterinary care to families in need.
