This 3-year-old sweetheart is a stunning 57 lbs of pure love. Momma Star is a gentle girl who walks beautifully on a leash and knows how to sit. She takes treats gently, showing her sweet and polite nature. This sweet girl has taken care of her babies and is now ready to be babied herself!
While Momma Star is a wonderful companion for many, she's not a fan of cats.
Momma Star has tested heartworm positive, but don't let that deter you! The shelter will cover the cost of her treatment.
This beautiful girl is patiently waiting for her forever home. Could it be with you?

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
