My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gonzo, a one year old sweetheart who’s been through a lot but still has so much love to give. When his owner passed away, Gonzo came to the shelter with his pal Lucky and brother Gilbert. While they’ve found their forever homes, Gonzo is still waiting—and as a black dog, he might sit for far too long. But Gonzo isn’t just any dog, he’s a lovebug who melts into your lap the moment you show him affection. He’s good with dogs, kids, and even cats, and he’s housebroken too! Despite being a little timid in the overwhelming shelter environment, Gonzo’s sugary-sweet nature shines through, and all he wants is to love and be loved. This gentle boy deserves a family of his own—a cozy spot on the couch, a warm lap to snuggle into, and someone to show him the world isn’t so scary after all. If you’re ready to give a loyal and affectionate companion the chance he’s been waiting for, come meet Gonzo. He’ll fill your heart with so much joy, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without him!

By adopting me today you will save the life of two pets -- you'll save me and that will make room for the Shelter to rescue and save another pet.
