Meet Pixie! Pixie is a sweet, gentle kitten with a quiet and calm personality. While she may be more reserved than her playful siblings, she's no stranger to fun. Pixie loves wrestling with her brothers and sisters, showing her playful side as they tumble and chase each other around.

Though she may not be the loudest in the bunch, Pixie's soft purrs and subtle energy reveal her affectionate nature. When she's not engaged in play, Pixie enjoys peaceful moments of exploration and curling up in cozy spots to relax. Despite her quiet demeanour, she's incredibly loving and enjoys the company of her humans, always seeking a gentle cuddle or a spot to rest by your side. With her serene yet playful personality, Pixie is sure to grow into a loving, loyal companion.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
