Name:  Daphne         Best Guess for Breed:  Retriever mix, some lab in there

Best Guess for Age:  1.5 years as of December 2024         SEX:    Female

Approximate Weight:  57 lbs

Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them

Currently Living at:  Shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to escape!

Daphne is Looking For:   First, you need to know what shelter staff say about Daphne. They say she is sweet and social! Yes, the shelter photos show her squinting into the sun and she doesn't look super happy. Forget the photos; she'll get new ones once she's out of the shelter and into foster care (wanna foster her??). She's sweet and social!

She's a young girl and has so much life to live, so much to see and do. She'd love to do it all by the side of her humans. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures her new family can dream up - yes, please! But what she wants most of all is to know where she belongs, that she's safe and loved for all her days.
