Meet the truly iconic and stunning Miss. Angelique aka Oreo Ham Cake Cat. Angelique came to MACS after being found by a staff member in a parking lot alone, scared, wet, and hungry. After a few days of care at the shelter she was able to land herself in the best foster home where she has been staying until she was ready for adoption. Angelique was exposed to other cats, which her foster dad has determined she has a dominate personality and loves to be the boss in the home with other cats. So a home with either submissive cats or no cats may suit her best for a happy long life without issues. Now with dogs she has met both large and small, she warms up after a proper introduction, and will interact with them the more she is comfortable. She uses the litterbox without any issues, LOVES wet food and treats, and enjoys sun bathing on cat trees and exploring Christmas trees in the house. Oh and have no fear, Angelique also loves to relax on the couch and watch RHWOBH and other reality tv shows with her people. Angelique is definitely a little cutie and would love the purrfect home before the holiday rolls around...

Owned a pet in the past, please list veterinarian pet went to.

Approved applicants will be asked to come to the shelter to meet the dog. (Cats/kittens are at other locations to visit)

Interested in a dog? Please fill out an application at our website, please list dogs name on application or if you don't see one, please list breed/gender you are looking for. (We can place you on a wish list) Once approved we will watch for a dog for you. When we get in animal that might be what you are looking for we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet the pet.

$60 Adoption fee for cats. $100 for kittens. $150 Adoption fee for dogs. $250 for puppies. All potential adopters must complete our Adoption Application.

** Most cats/kittens are located at PetSmart in Utica or PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills, unless noted **

Our adoptable cats are located at a PetSmart in Utica, PetSmart in Bloomfield Hills. You can visit them at the stores when they are open.

For Dogs we are asking people to fill out an application online to get approved. Applications can be found here: https://macsshelter.org/dog-application. We will schedule a meet and greet of the dog after application approval.

We do take our dogs to different pet stores in the Metro Detroit area on Saturday's. You can visit our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/macs1935) to see where our next dog adoption event will be located. These events start at 11 AM - 2:30 PM.
