Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All adopters must have a current ID along with a piece of mail showing address. You will be asked to sign an agreement form and a release form. We will adopt to in or out of state rescue or fosters or to the public. We strive to place the right animals in the right homes but do understand that life happens so we will help with anything that does come up. Our same day adoption fee is $40 and includes, the Microchip, 30 days of free insurance, puppy shot, worming etc. A spay/neuter contract has to be signed and an appointment will be set at the time of adoption. ALL OF OUR PETS ARE EITHER ALREADY FIXED OR WILL BE! THIS IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE!

More about this shelter

We do a lot of fundraiser events and adoption drives at least every few months. Please follow us on Facebook for our daily lives and to be up to date on all things AAS!

We all here at AAS are here for the same reason. To educate the public on responsible pet ownership, healthcare and of coarse to get the best homes for our babies in our care. We love our job and could not imagine doing anything different. The staff of the Andalusia Animal Shelter has years of sheltering under our belts. We do our best to stay up to date and current on new ways of doing things to improve adoptions, rescue pulls and over all care of the pets. We do this everyday to make an impact in not only our community but the world. To give a fresh new life to pets that have had a terrible start.
