What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Henry is a good doggo. He is an oversized lap dog lover boy. He is tolerant with small children and plays well with other dogs. We occasionally take him to daycare for socialization and have only received positive reports over the last few years. We adopted Henry when we had our son. His owner re-homed him due to a worsening of her asthma and reactiveness to his dander. We ended up getting pregnant again unexpectedly. Now we have two toddlers and feel that his quality of life is not what it should be. He is an opportunist with food so we often have to keep him separated while the kids are eating and snacking which is often, as he will get sick with some of the different foods, and we do not have time to give him the affection he needs. We decided that if we could find a really good fit, it would be in his best interest for us to re-home him to enjoy the remainder of his adult hood. He is approximately 9 years old.
