Oliver Wendell is a charming young lionhead rabbit with a unique story and a personality to match. Originally purchased from an expensive breeder, Oliver’s journey hasn’t been easy. He initially lived with a male owner in a challenging environment that included other animals and poor nourishment. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now ready to find his loving forever home.
This petite rabbit has a stunning fur coat and a distinct look that’s as unique as his personality. His foster family affectionately calls him “Mouse” because of his dark brown nose and small size. Although naturally a bit shy, Oliver reveals his playful side through joyful zoomies and binkies when he feels safe.
Oliver is litter box trained, keeps his space clean, and takes treats gently from your hand – a true gentleman! He is also neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making him ready for a long and healthy life with his new family. Additionally, he would make an excellent bonding mate for another rabbit, which could help him come out of his shell even more.
One of Oliver’s favorite daily rituals is enjoying his fresh lunch salad. Spending this special time with him is a wonderful way to bond and show him love.
Oliver is best suited for a home where a male caregiver can spend time with him daily. He thrives with consistent companionship, love, and attention, and a calm environment will help him feel secure and happy.
Currently residing in Louisa County with his foster parents, Oliver is available for adoption by appointment. It’s recommended that he remain in his foster home until the perfect match is found.
