Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Mr. Bean’s journey hasn’t been the easiest, but he’s ready to start a new chapter with someone who will love him for who he is. He came to us because his previous home wasn’t the right fit—Mr. Bean just isn’t comfortable around children or fast, unpredictable movements. He’s a sensitive soul who craves a calm, quiet environment where he can feel safe and at ease.
When meeting new people, Mr. Bean can be a little unsure and may cower if approached too quickly. It’s possible he experienced some unkindness in his past, as both we and his previous owner suspect he may have been mistreated. These emotional scars have left him cautious, but not broken. With patience and understanding, he blossoms into the sweetest, most loving companion you could hope for.
Mr. Bean absolutely thrives in the company of other dogs. They bring out his playful, confident side and help him feel more secure. If you have a friendly dog at home, they could be the perfect match for Mr. Bean! However, cats are a no-go for this pup—he’s made it clear they’re not his cup of tea.
Mr. Bean is looking for someone who sees the diamond in the rough and is willing to give him the time he needs to truly shine. Once he trusts you, he’ll reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and affection.
Are you ready to give Mr. Bean the loving, stable home he deserves? He’s ready to meet you and start a new chapter. Please inquire about him today!

More about this rescue
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
